Chalco-cite is the most common primary mineral and occurs as disseminationsof irregular replacement masses in sandstone, as nodules in shale, andas pseudomorphs after fosil wood and pyrite grains. Small amountsof native copper, cuprite, chalcopyrite, covellite, bornite, sphalerite,pyrite and galena are present in places.
