Final Fantasy IV guidebooks + light novels
Books related to Final Fantasy IV. Includes the official light novels, the DS guidebook, and the PSP CC guidebook. Still looking for the WiiWare book…Text transcriptions for the novels are in the "FFIV novels text.zip" file. (Normal ZIP at the bottom of the "download options" list.) If you find any typos/missing sections/other errors in them, inform me on Discord (UltimaSpark50#8200) and I'll get around to it ASAP.The light novels are meant to be read as one large work. FFIV (parts 1 & 2) > time skip > TAY (part 3).The novels are a parallel timeline to the games. The general story and outcome is the same, and many novel-only details (eg. character psychology, depiction of off-screen events) can be incorporated into the games with some (or no) tweaking, but enough differences exist re: on-screen events that it's impossible to completely merge them into one. (If the PSP-only Interlude feels strange, that's because it incorporates some novel-only conceits that are naturally lost on most players.)
