The Rise and Fall of the Trigan EmpireThe planet Elekton lies in the galaxy of Yarna, and the greatest power on Elekton is the Trigan Empire, ruled over by its founder, the Emperor Trigo.A science fiction serial created and written by Mike Butterworth with artwork by Don Lawrence, published in full colour, telling the story of an alien civilisation in which futuristic technology, including antigravity vehicles and energy ray weapons, are blended with architecture, dress and customs reminiscent of Ancient Greece and Rome.Originally published in Ranger, a British boys comic, in 1965. Ranger merged with Look and Learn, in which the serial then ran continuously until 1980.
