101 Epubs of Quality

101 Epubs of QualityProject compiled by Matt Pierard, August 2018.This is under a Non-Commercial Creative Commons license.First off, The Story of Scotch is about a dog, not a history of liquor.  I included it in this collection to balance out the cat books -- one about raising felines in general and the other about a teenage boy and his pet in late 1950's NYC.  There are about thirty classic works in here, the usual choices of Jane Austen, Jack London, Charles Dickens, and so on.  Over half are illustrated works, mostly non-fiction on science, travel, fine art, cooking, et al.  I've included two multi-volume works -- one a history of the United States up to 1900, the other a quartet of travel writings by various authors, famous and otherwise.  There is a Shakespeare play, Whitman's Leaves of Grass, The Declaration of Independence, and a couple of issues of Astounding Stories.  In short, a desert island library with something for everyone.
